On the morning of the 28th February, my wife rang Judi Carpenter because my stallion, Shavaan was very ill. I had the Vet out, but he did not know what was wrong. He thought of snake bite and many other things, to no avail: which led us to our last hope, Judi.

As we lived in the north of the state and Judi lived in the south it was a long way for her to come. That morning I had thought that I would have to put the horse down. When Judi arrived it was 9.30pm and the horse was no better. Shavaan is a full blooded Whaler and will not allow another person to handle him and being a stallion makes him very dominant.

After three of four minutes in the stock yards Judi calmed him down. I could not believe what I was seeing as, after several minutes Judi had the horse asleep. I am very close to this horse and he only has one master.

Judi, after a while, brought a lump out at the top of the flank about three inches in length and two inches in width. When I walked over on her request to put my hand on it I was very skeptical, and had never seen anything like this happen before.

Judi moved her hand over mine and actually moved the lump down the side of his flank. As she did this I felt very tingly down my face and hand. Shavaan had been poisoned by a plant called Deadly Nightshade, which we only became aware of as Judi could see a purple flower and said it was in Shavaan's paddock.

After this had been removed, the horse stood for a few minutes, not moving, as if in deep relaxation. After another ten minutes the horse started walking around the yeard and one could not think this was the same animal. Next morning he was running around as if nothing had been wrong.

This was the first time I had any experience with something like this. On inspection of the paddock it was proven that the purple flower Judi had seen was indeed the cause of the horse's illness.

Five years ago on coming to Tasmania, both Dave and myself were looking for spiritual teaching and that path led us to Judith Carpenter. It was almost like opening up a flower for us.

Having owned race horses for many years I was not surprised to find one that was disruptive in the stalls - I considered selling this one and then when a friend mentioned Judith may assist this problem I did consent although very skeptically. She worked with the horse twice - I still have this one and I do not know how? Bu t the horse is fine in the starting stalls.

"I have often seen Judy overshadowed by beautiful entities, some of whom through my Catholic upbringing are within my scope of recognition. Of late she has also been overshadowed by an Indian Guru, most of us who attend her metaphysical classes have viewed this. He seems to appear through her and when this happens she appears to shrink from her 5ft 9 height to around a squat 5ft. Some weeks ago I was walking with her in the city and happened to mention this guru, I was walking slightly ahead of her at this time. I turned to see if she had heard my words and was amazed - there she was walking down the street at around 5ft in height, her slacks were hanging over her shoes - I laughed this was a comical sight but at the same time a very reverent one.
