This photo was taken by a newpaper photographer and appears on my book
“Encounters of Taiyo”.
The photo generally attracts the comment - “What is the mark on her head?” |

JAPAN
I visited the shrine of the White Snake and
asked the owner to bring the white snake to my
seminars as it is considered very auspicious in
Japan. While I was holding the snake in my
seminar its skin began to move - it shed its skin
out of season.
The white snake is considered to bring wealth.

JAPAN - HEITATE SHRINE
It is said that the Heitate Shrine has a duty to care for the peace of
the world. The shrine is the keeper of the ‘five masks’ and each year
on August 23 a ceremony is held for world peace.
Since the ceremonies have been public, I have represented the
white mask - one day we all look forward to the day all masks may
be represented for peace.
FIVE MASK MEANING: Five coloured people to gather at the
Shrine so everyone is one.
